Why Turn the Tables?

We often get asked why our proprietary process is named Turn the Tables.

Turn the TablesTM is the name of our proprietary process we use to position and publicize our clients as a go-to subject-matter experts, making them magnets for media and business opportunities.

We often get asked why we named it Turn the Tables.

Well, the phrase Turn the Tables means to change a situation so that you gain an advantage over someone who previously had an advantage over you.

At its core, the phrase Turn the Tables is all about leverage. And leverage is elusive in public relations.

It can often feel like you have no leverage. You work hard to promote your opinions, ideas and insights, yet it’s seems extremely challenging to break through all of the noise. You develop powerful stories and interesting segment ideas, yet editors and producers ignore your pitches.

Our proprietary process strategically and methodically reverses that leverage to Turn the Tables, hence the name.

Instead of constantly pursuing media placements, we work to make each of our clients a magnet for media opportunities.

We strategically position them as thought leaders who the media knows will provide them what they need - insightful information in a timely manner that educates and entertains their readers or audiences.

It takes a lot of time and effort to build thought leaders, nurture relationships with the media and be prepared when the media comes calling. That is why in-house marketing and public relations professionals come to us to enhance their efforts.

We know how to turn the tables.
